Jewelry I've made to date

Below are all the pieces I have made so far, along with a name or brief description, price, and measurement.

All pieces (necklaces and earrings) are made of Argentium, an alloy of silver and copper, where some of the copper has been removed and replaced with germanium. It is 93.5% silver and meets the legal standard to be quality marked sterling silver. I use argentium instead of traditional sterling silver because it is much slower to tarnish, and tends to cause less problems for those of us with sensitive ears. And it does not contain nickel, which is the primary culprit of skin allergies and sensitivities.

The ear wires are all 21 gauge, which I've found is very comfortable...not too big, not too small ;)

All earrings are made by hand, so each piece is unique. Adding to their uniqueness is the "door." The "door" is rounded on one side and flat on the other. The rounded side varies in color from orange, dark brown, tan to cream, or some combination of these colors. No two "doors" are exactly alike.

The flat side has a spiral formed in it, which is more visible in the larger "doors."

The size of the "doors" range from less than 1/4 inch to almost 2" in diameter.

I LOVE these "doors." Mother Nature makes such beautiful things.
